Top finisher for the USA in men's cross country skiathlon was Noah Hoffman in 35th place, 3:12.7 behind the winner. Eric Bjornsen was 42nd, Brian Gregg 47th and Kris Freeman 54th.

Anna Ringsred of the USA is in the second pair that will take the ice.

Ringsred is on the ice, skating with Anna Rokita of Austria. Shoko Fujimura of Japan had a time of 4:12.71 in the first pair.
Ringsred, a 29-year-old from Duluth, Minn., has the outside lane. These are her first Winter Games.
Ringsred posts a time of 4:21.51, which places her fourth of the four competitors so far.
