Santa has been known to responsibly enjoy an adult beverage from time to time but never when he's flying! If you're looking to shake things up, I'm sure Santa would love a cup of tea.
Less than 2 minutes from Georgetown, Guyana! We need to hurry, scattered thunderstorms in the forecast!
Flying over Trinidad and Tobago! Calm wind and 79F! I could stay here awhile!
Okay everyone! We are on our way through the islands! Getting ready for the sun!
I love hearing that you take diet and health seriously! As much as I'm a fan of regular cookies and milk, I've had some great granola bars and almond milk left for me over the years. If you take the time to make it with love, I'm sure I'll absolutely love it :)
And how's my favourite candy cane doing up at the North Pole? Think we're making some children happy tonight?
Running into some rain showers heading into Bridgetown, Barbados! Just gave Santa his slicker!
Christmas dinner in Barbados often includes fried plantain, those grey yams and rum cake for dessert.
Well, as the song suggests, Santa takes "off his suit and his big black boots and the cap upon his head." That's why he's all red.
Hopefully this year he remembers his sunscreen. Correspondent Elf??
Way ahead of you, Mrs. C. Sunscreen's a check. I even remembered to bring his sunhat this time. Don't worry about a thing.
We are making our trek through the islands kids! And even though it is getting late, you can't tell by watching Santa! I think he is on his 50th wind! Speaking of wind, wind speeds have been very calm and continue to be as we head from Port-Louis, Guadeloupe to San Juan, Puerto Rico!!
We have an excellent team of meteorologists - like Sunny Elf! - keeping track of troublesome weather systems and suggesting ways around the nasty clouds.
Also, don't forget! We have Rudolph's nose to steer us if a rogue storm catches us. I have also scheduled us some wiggle room in case of emergencies.
Leaving Puerto Rico for our quick ocean flight to St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada!
Canada already! Oh my. How the night flies!
Well, Mark, as the name suggests, Dancer has feet that just can't stop moving. It's one of the reason's he does so well on our sleigh-team - he's just go-go-go all the time.
We're just sailing into the mainland of Canada!
We are currently on route to Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
Ho-ho-ho I love Halifax-- but those tall ships can make for some dangerous navigating! I better stay alert.
So far so good here in NE Canada! Clear and a little nippy but we are handling it just fine!
Santa's team is heading back down south. ETA for Hog Bay, Bermuda is less than one minute.
And from Bermuda to Caracas, Venezuela where it is 77F right now! Nice!
Back down South? Changing our gear so frequently is such a hassle! Okay Santa, hand me the jacket again...
Now heading into the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil.
Brazil, the largest Portuguese-speaking country in the world. As we mentioned before, there, to say Merry Christmas, it’s “Feliz Natal!”
Correspondent? Where is my rain gauge?
