Hi there, Sean. Tyler says temps will be in the mid-50s. How's that sound?!
BJ - Tyler says not to worry about having a tornado watch over here.
Sean, the weather will be fine on Thanksgiving. However, it will be a little sloppy in some spots due to the temps plummeting behind this system. The road crews are already out preparing so I highly doubt your associate will run into troubles on Thursday.
BJ, I think they have both handled it this setup nicely. If I were to choose though -- I'd go with the GFS. It seems to have a slightly better grasp on the timing and position of the low. The EURO isn't far off the mark.
Hi Lyla, thanks for the question. Our weather will improve rather quickly tomorrow. The rough weather will be out by 6AM, and from there the cooler air will start to infiltrate the state. The winds will still be brisk, and it will be rather cloudy. Rain should be done. Then MUCH better weather arrives on Thanksgiving.
You'll be A-Okay Lynn. Atlanta will see wintry precip early in the day, but it'll be out by the afternoon.
We all have our sleeves rolled up Mr. Crashser... We mean #business.
Much of the East Coast is dealing with moderate to excessive delays at the moment. Make sure you check in with your airline before heading out!
Tyler will be back shortly! Ran to grab dinner for him & Weags.
Meteorologist Tyler Mauldin and Steve Weagle both say the Storm Prediction Center has just extended the slight risk of an isolated tornado overnight into our area. They still do not expect them to issue a Tornado Watch for us.
