Hi Charlie, I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing flooding. I would suggest contacting a water restoration company to see about preventing any further damage.
I'm sporry to say H20No, but that is correct. This is why it's usually a good idea to seek coverage advice of a licensed insurance professional when purchasing auto insurance.
Hi Shelly, flood damage is always excluded from homeowners insurance. You would want to purchase a separate flood insurance policy in order to make sure you are protected in the event of flood damage.
It may dry out, or corrosion could set in after time along with mold.
Hi QuestionforInsuranceAgent - Flood Insurance is very inexpensive. You can obtain flood insurance for as little as $129 a year. If you are in a preferred flood zone you can obtain $250,000 worth of coverage for $414
a year.
You would need to take it in to have it scanned to determine the cause of the light.
Hi Shelly, Flood insurance will cover you regardless if it's from a named storm or last night. But it does require a Flood Insurance policy. Homeowners Insurance does not cover flood damage
Hi Richard, From the rains we received last night more than an acre did flood. It's true in the policy it must be two adjacent properties or more than an acre to trigger coverage. But again what many experienced was flood damage.
Depending on how deep. if it went past the door sills i would have it atlease towed out and get the carpet dried to ensure no mold sets in.
there are alot of varables with that question, it really needs to be looked at by a dealer. it depends on year make model and what is actually wrong within the car
Possible mold, and or corrosion to certain componets that may be electrical. Best to get it out as quickly as possible from the standing water
Jennifer before you start the vehicle make sure you pull the air filter 1st and check to see if the water got inside the air box. if it is dry and your air filter is dry start it, if you hear tapping or knocking noise turn it off right away.
with the amount of cars in the market, there are not that many that have flood damage, with that being said it is advised to run a Carfax or Autocheck on any used car you buy. also buy a car from a reputable dealer
it can be several differant issues, its sounds electrical, the car should be towed in and looked at , dont keep cranking the engine or it could cause more damage
depneds on the make and model most factory air filters will be between $15.00 to $35.00
I wish you the best of luck on that. Contact your local municipality for the answer.
