I think Bosh is a goner. Expect him to join the Rockets. He'll reportedly make his decision between Houston and Heat tonight. So stay tuned...
I think they try. But cap space could be an issue. But he's good friends with LeBron. I think either Allen or Mike Miller end up in Cleveland with LeBron.
Bosh. Could happen as soon as tonight.
Jose, most Heat fans we talked to today, and most Heat fans lighting up the airwaves at ESPN 106.3 feel the same way. Definitely a bummer. But no reason to be bitter. Four consecutive finals and two rings? That's amazing.
Great question. If Bosh leaves Miami becomes a less attractive destination. Expect Heat to overpay for free agents who might have a better chance at winning elsewhere.
I wouldn't say that. Riley definitely hasn't been dumped like this before. He has his work cut out for him now. Especially if Bosh takes off. He needs to convince Wade this isn't as bad as it looks and start building the kingdom again. But first, he's gotta stop the bleeding.
He wants to bring a championship to his home state. He would've gotten a max deal wherever he landed. It's impossible to get sick of the beautiful SoFla waters!
Don't think he held a grudge against the Heat for that. Had the Heat not amnestied Miller he would've been able to return to Miami next season. LBJ enjoyed playing with Miller. But they may be reunited in Cleveland.
Can't blame the guy for wanting to go home. It has a special place in his heart.
They can forgive, just not forget.
That's definitely how LeBron feels.
It's part of sports. Teams experience highs and lows. Fans are along for the ride. It's rough, but Pat Riley has gotta put a solid product on the floor if he wants fans to show up in full force. The team's current roster is brutal.
Neither. Money would be the same no matter where he landed. Fans had tons of respect for him here. Most fans today are grateful for what he was able to do for the franchise. For LeBron, it was time to head home.
It's definitely newsworthy.
Yes. That's big. If Bosh stays. Wade stays...hopefully for a good price, and Heat can still have enough room to scoop up solid FA. Melo, anyone?
Looks like Bosh is now staying. He's not getting 5 years, $118 million anywhere else (which is what the Heat are reportedly offering him).
I wouldn't say ALL basketball fans are the worst.
And he left with two of them. Not bad.
REPORT: Chris Bosh finalizing 5-year, $118 deal with Heat. IF this happens expect Wade to stick around as well.
Web chat is almost over. Thanks for hangin' out, Heat fans!
