I guess I should have been clearer…I have to drive from Palm City to Donald Ross and Military Trail in Jupiter and haven't seen any closure info. for that area. Does "getting better" mean it's currently under water?

No significant rains today. A little rain overnight Saturday into Sunday. Heavy rains return during the middle of next week as another front approaches.

When you say historical rain events, is there actually a criteria that needs to be met, or is it more of a "perfect storm" type of classification - just so out of the ordinary that there is no other wayy to describe it?

Gary, when I say "historical" I mean it literally broke previous rainfall records. Records were around 1 - 2", and we picked up around 10" with some areas receiving almost 22"!

why can't we here more of Port St Lucie and the Treasure Coast like on the wash out um roads and flooding up here its all down south of point in Delray Lantana what about us up here in the Treasure Coast

William, our focus almost all of yesterday was for the Treasure Coast, but once 18" fell in South County, we had to turn our focus to them.

The rain will slowly taper off today Lisa. Light rain will return Saturday night into Sunday morning. Heavy rains return midweek next week

It was forecast Morgan, however I'll admit, we didn't forecast 13"+. The arctic front that moved through last week stalled out and little ripples of energy moved over it which instigated all this rain

The front that instigated all the rain stalled out over SOFL. Thus, the rain couldn't move anywhere Ben.
